Tip for a nice bar
Hi,
It is time to leave for me so I am planning a farewell drinks for friends. I would like to do it probably on Sunday evening in some of the bars in Amsterdam where I could reserve places for approx. 12 people to sit and have a nice chat.
I heard about Chocolate bar...Could you give me a tip for some nice and cosy place to go?

Cafe L&B
I dig this one, it is 5 mins from Leidseplein. Cafe L&B and they have extensive list for Whisky - the bar itself is really small and very "gezellig". Always full on weekend evenings!

I've been in this place lately with one of meetin members and i really loved it: perfect for a normal size group. good atmosphere and all the wines you could ever want!

whatever you choose to do, avoid this place "luxembourg dot nl".
They do not like groups of people as we found out back in February.

Hmmm
The chocolate bar is a nice place but also have a look at the site www.worldsbestbars.com, they have a great 'Amsterdam' section, you might find something different/interesting there.
