Event Hosted By Paolo Jay Link To Event Start slideshow MEETinSchool - Italian for Beginners Written By Paolo 11/13/2006 click for full size It was good fun! 12 people joined Jay and myself for an Italian class, cheese and wine tasting, and a nice movie. Everything went smoothly in the amazing facilities (kindly offered by the generous Jay): a spacious lounge and a private movie theatre in central downtown Vancouver. The lesson was really fun to do and a lot was learned. The cheeses (Piave, Montasio and Caciocavallo) and wines (Lambrusco, Montepulciano and Trebbiano) were good and went really fast, accompanied by good conversation. The uplifting movie "Italian for Beginners" (Denmark, 2000) was definitely well received and left a persisting smile on everybody's face. But most of all the people who participated were immensely kind and sweet -- thanks all for coming! We should do this again :) More Photos
