Christmas Party and Gift Exchange Written By Candace 12/18/2005 You know those parties that seem to drag on for hours and you can hardly wait for a polite moment to high tail it out of there or attempt a secret escape out the bathroom window? This wasn't one of those parties, at least not for me. Time flew by as we ate pizza, cheese cake, apple pie, way too much shrimp and way too many olives, opened presents, strained our necks watching hockey on a fancy TV, warmed up by the roaring fire, made new friends, and played Pictionary and Trivial Pursuit. It's been a long time since I've come across one of those mysterious people who have way more than their fair share of possibly useful, definitely trivial, knowledge in their heads just waiting for an opportunity to let it out, and there were several of them at the Trivial Pursuit table tonight. Good Grief. It was a freak of nature. All I can say is "Trevor Trevor he's so clever". My only 2 questions are these: who brought the nifty tape measure that I got as a present? I love it! And, why didn't I bring a camera?? Thanks for coming out everyone. It was a blast! |

Yummy food and entertaining games... Thanks Candace, that was a lot of fun! Pop culture trivia is not one of my strengths, as you could tell from my silent puzzled look during most of the game. I'm not sure if I should be proud of Trevor's performance, or afraid of how much useless knowledge he's storing.... Merry Christmas Everyone!! |

MMMmmmmm...Pizza! Thanks for hosting!! Watching the Canucks game on a flat screen TV was awesome (too bad they lost)....The Pizza was great (Me 'N' Ed's Pizza has always been a favorite of mine)....and last but not least, Trival Pursuit was a blast! I haven't seen that version of Trival Pursuit before, but I may have to get it... |
