Festival of Lights @ Van Dusen Written By Eunice 12/15/2005 click for full size We had a great turn out to check out the brilliant lights and choir at Van Dusen. Nobody bailed in spite of the very very cold night! YAH!! I think most would agree that it was well worth the $5.50 admission. The dancing lights display set to music was a special crowd pleaser. All those with decent pics please send them along and I’ll post them with this update! And those who didn’t get to go should definitely check it out sometime before they disappear. They’re absolutely lovely and it’s such a nice (aka non-cheesy) way to get into the Christmas spirit. A few of us who needed dinner and a good warm up afterwards headed to The Frog and Firkin on Broadway. Got all warmed up on steak & kidney pies, spicy wings, and all sorts of good stuff!! With the exception of the music, I think the consensus was that it’s our kind of place. Thanks again for braving the cold everyone! Hope you all felt it was worth it! P.S. For those who were asking, Tom’s restaurant review site is www.tasteof604.com. See y’all soon ... otherwise have a fantastic Christmas and a wonderful start to your new year!! Eunice More Photos |
