Is there anything stopping us from doing a little hike despite the cold weather?

Indoor boardgames whether at someone's house or in a public cafe that can accommodate that could work.

Let's see what comes up on the calendar!

Charlotte and Kiera, there are tons of things to do in Vancouver that are inexpensive, free, and fun. With regards to indoors, as unfortuantely Spring hasn't arrived in BC yet, either Tuesday or Thursdays are entry by donation to the Vancouver Arts Gallery. There are bunch of inexpensive breakfast places on Denman Street in downtown, where you can get cheap breakfast 5 bucks or less. There are a few Cafe Artigiano, which are priced like Starbucks but are much better with regards to environment. There are a few bowling alleys. The club scene in Vancouver is mediocre, so most people opt to private parties. So, once you start making friends here, your schedule would be too full to do anythign else :)

When the weather improves, you will be able to go around Stanley park on rollerblades, bike, or just run or walk. Hanging out at the faux beaches is always fun. Again, my idea is to find cheap food, and combine it with fun and friendly people at places that welcome groups. There would also be a lot of hiking opportunities.
