Madonnari Chalk Festival Written By Alice 04/28/2008 click for full size
It was a lovely morning/afternoon that started with coffee and bagels from Brueggers then a walk through Jacome Plaza as we checked out the beginnings of the art pieces and spoke with a few of the artists.
We lunched at La Cocina in the Old Artisans courtyard, where there happened to be a family of native Mexican dancers performing. After a relaxing (and somewhat boisterous) time, we returned to the library plaza to see how the artwork had progressed.... and Tuyen found a couple of new girlfriends. Thanks, Jody, Allena, M, Barb, Amy, Tuyen, and Laura and Salchicha for a great escape! (I hope I didn't forget anyone). More Photos
