Event Hosted By Cheryl Start slideshow Solar Rock 2008 Written By Cheryl 03/31/2008 click for full size Solar Rock was once again a fun event. Several different solar technologies were displayed as well as a Physics Factory bus. I never did see Dale or Mindy, but found Jody and forced him to pose by this cute little eco car. The bands were good even if the guest speakers were hard to hear from where we were sitting. Between the nerd and the polar bear and of course the Free Hugs kids, I loved the spirit of the event. Freecycle was there, giving away free soap, computers and a host of other things. They had enough food and drink at this one, but I am curious why they tempt us with that great food like pizzas they cook in those solar ovens then never feed it to us? A great event and a good cause…there has got to be something more productive we can do to harness the sun then merely giving Cheryl a bad sunburn. ;) More Photos
