Dessert Swap
To all you chefs/bakers/lovers of all things sweet: I would like to host a dessert swap at my house sometime soon. It will be a chance for us to sit around & chat, eat some goodies & maybe share some recipes. Everyone would bring a dessert to share & maybe a drink to go with it. We’re talking cakes, cookies, pies, any-kinda-doodles, sweet breads, candies, cobblers, whatever yummy treat you wanna bring. All I ask is that the desserts not be store-bought. What would be a good day for everyone? I’m kinda partial to the weekends so that we have time to prepare something. And I tend to drink a little more than eat. I live a little ways past the boondocks (off BFE road) so if you wanna crash I have room. Let me know what you think & I will make this an event!

this sounded great until i read that i can't buy something. but maybe i can come up with a recipe. I'm good the second weekend of October (sort of). or 10/23 or 10/30

I love this idea. I know Friday's work best for me. The next 2 Saturdays I know I am booked up.
