Favorite Music Pretty broad tastes. Everything except country/western (it causes inbreeding ;) and rap/hip-hop (although I'd like it more if it wasn't so bloody negative/misogynist). I like 102 The Edge here in Toronto and tend toward modern rock.
Favorite Books Anything by the British historian Ronald Hutton, "The Age of Spiritual Machines" by Ray Kurzweil, anything by Carl Sagan, "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" (all four of the trilogy)

Why I joined I had no social life in Connecticut because everyone was obsessed with settling down into the type of boring suburban existence lampooned by Malvina Reynolds, so I was starved for human contact when I moved here. ;) I did make a lot of great new friends and had better things to do on the weekend than wonder how badly Saturday Night Live was gonna suck tonight.

Frenchy - when did you marry Clooney?? I never received my invitiation!! So what can I say about Frenchy-Nicole?? Well, she gives the best hugs in the city; she's insanely imaginative and articulate; she's crazy about disco music but don't tell anyone! Frenchy is just Frenchy - when you meet her you never forget her :)

Dudes and Dudettes, praise Frenchy for stimulating and energizing this group! I totally vouch for her! There are a few precious and key elements in this group; and she is one of them. In my mind, she's the heartbeat of this group. She f-ing wrote the book on how to meet and engage new people! She is a natural extravert who exudes "cool," and she's probably been doing this since birth ... 20 some years ago.
