Event Hosted By Shiraz Start slideshow Dinner at Amma's Vegetarian Kitchen Written By Shiraz 04/25/2005 click for full size The weather was suppose to be great and it was until about 4:00 pm when a huge Spring shower graced the DC/Arlington metro area. But that didn't stop about 16 peeps from showing up at the dinner. Micheal, our guest of honor from Phoenix had a smile on his face the entire time. Sameer proceeded to give us a history lesson on how the Aryans invaded the SubContinent (present day South Asia) from the north and drove the Dravidians to the south. The food was amazing, and the dreaded end of dinner-counting of cash went very smoothly. The restaurant manager Islam was very kind and gave us the biggest table in the house! Overall a great time. Micheal, you have to visit us again. Thank you to all the people who came. More Photos
