Event Hosted By Glenn Link To Event Start slideshow PRINCE OF WALES STAKES - FORT ERIE, ONTARIO Written By Glenn 07/23/2009 click for full size Thank you to Karen L, Karen W, and Jeff (from Rochester), for joining me at Fort Erie for the Prince Of Wales Stakes. The Prince Of Wales Stakes is the 2nd Jewel in the Canadian Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing. Our day started off with a 3 hour commute from Toronto to Fort Erie (gotta love those traffic jams). We enjoyed a nice afternoon of racing. After the racing, we found the only restaurant open in Fort Erie on a Sunday night. Apparently, their restaurants close really early on Sundays. We all enjoyed a nice dinner, and drove 3 hours back to Toronto....yup...another 3 hour ride....lol. Even though we sat through two really long traffic jams, we had a really nice afternoon. If you missed it this year, hope that you can make it out next year!!! More Photos
