Event Hosted By Mary Link To Event Start slideshow January's Games night Written By Mary 01/10/2009 click for full size Wow it was a huge turn out for this event! Thanks for everyone who made it out. I think there were just over 30 of us playing all sorts of games. Sue brought along an assortment of games and Nathan brought along some that he got from Santa. There were many Meetin members and Couchsurfers as well as a few of my personal friends. Please feel free to bring along your friends, too. We had a table full of great food, and a fridge full of pop, (although my selection of teas were appreciated by those coming in from the cold!) There were some first time members who would tell you that it's a great first time event. There were also people who had never played board games before, and they'd tell you that it's not ALL about playing games, there is a lot of socializing too. Unfortunately our friendly astrologer Eric wasn't able to make it, but perhaps next time. We did get to play a couple of games of BINGO though. Next month there will be prizes, that will make it a bit more interesting! We ran out of plastic markers to cover the numbers, so we were creative and used, pretzels, popcorn, jelly beans and whatever food was still around! Join us next month February 6, a week earlier, since the 2nd weekend is the Family Day holiday. More Photos
