Shucks... missed the locust! I heard about the locust but thought that it was where we came from, not realizing that it was actually close to the Queen St W location. Grrrr! Oh well, hopefully it'll be around next year! |

Nuit Blanche The visit to the CN Tower was a realization on how Beautiful Toronto looks from up above.Theresa, you missed the locust and Karen, you asked how the photo of the locust turned out. I have one with people qued to enter into the guts of the locust. I don't think I can add to Ali's photo collection. To those that I have stayed up until 4:30am I enjoyed your company. |

Thanks... Here's my story Hey, thanks for a good evening to all that were there. Just because Zone A wasn't good, the people made up for it. We made our own fun!! We had our own exhibit of a sort near the Alien 'thing' chanting "Frankie".... "Frankie".... "Frankie.... we're leaving" :) And then on McCaul Street, we got giggly with Lynn's helium balloon. I did a rendition of "The hills are alive with the sound of music" compliments of that helium balloon. That's the one good thing that came of Zone A's "String of Diamonds". Oh man, how disappointing that exhibit left us! We walked to Zone C (never ended up going to the AGO), took in the Drive-In outside of OCAD, then walked along Queen Street West from University Avenue (people leaving at different times), to a few events. The trumpet sculpture was neat. We enjoyed the music there and the remaining clan of 3 parted ways at 4 am heading on route to home. Zone C (Queen West) was my fave. Zone A wasn't too good but we had a good laugh and made our own fun anyway... Next year, I'll hang out in Zone C. Ali, those are good photos. The blue vertical trees are always there at that location... all year round. They are still quite interesting. The wall there with the mural was quite neat! A flying skeleton with a chainsaw, a scorpio on a mother's back, a retching person above, a pick pocketer. Thanks again! |
