Thanks to everyone who came. I'll have enough food for the next 2 weeks! It worked out even better than I had hoped, with several people coming out for their first or second time to an event. Everyone pitched in to help and we had lots of food, fun and lively conversation, (at least partly inspired by the experimental martinis!). Thanks to Theresa for laughs and photos. Even Murphy behaved.

New Years Day..... Feast
Hello Andy: What a great day to start 2007! Thanks for the delicious turkey complete with stuffing. Andrew-the borcht and corn bread was fantastic, great for warming up on a cold day. That piping hot Brie and crackers was ausum! The vegie and seafood rolls was a lovely appetizer Karen, the cabbage rolls and all the other vegie tray and nicks knacks were tasty. And What an array of martinis! Sorry, I don't know anything about them. Thanks to everyone who made the bubbly conversations very interesting. Thanks again Andy and all those who attended.

Fun Day
Thanks again Andy for a fun, full day of good food and great company. Too bad I missed out on the Martinis taste test! Oh! Murphy the dog was just adorable.

Andy
Bodes well for the rest of 2007, I think
I think I have the title for my next event: "Sex on the pebbles with Cleopatra's sister" Should be a hit! Thanks folks, you guys made the party. (and the Korean girl dropped in via msn messenger - thanks to those who kept her entertained)

Jack
Thanks, Andy!
It was so good to start the New Year in such a nice way. I only wish I had taken the TTC so that I could have tried all the exotic drinks. Well, maybe some other time! Happy New Year, everyone!!!

Skyy
I saw no Korean girl that day?
Is that why Andy wants to go to Korea?;)

Those "martinis shooters"were good for hangover!
Just as I was dozing off in front of the fire and thinking why my stomach ached from eating, Andy pulled out his 20 some bottles that ranged from black Zambuca (first for me!)to non creamy Kalua..that is a first for me too!!!the room came alive with concoction shots like sex on the beach... Sex on the gravel..smoothe shot though and not only that with Cleopatra’s sister!!!!...that is all a first for me !!!!much more interesting than asking the bar tender for a cosmo, sour apple martini, crantini, blah.... Don’t you think? There are much more left in Andy's cabinet as I was the one who put them away. Thanks! for a good New Year day folks. Now back to the grind.

Andrew
Oh my aching head!
Thanks Andy....Twas fun! Good food, good conversation, esp. with the Korean ladyfriend, but for me the highlight of the day/evening had to be the sex on the gravel with Cleopatra's sister. TYA

Theresa
Thanks Andy for a great afternoon!
"Without Andy, there'd be no great New Year's Day". Yeah I sort of stole that from the United Way but New Year's Day would have otherwise been a laze about day for me at least. It turned out to be a great day of fun, chat, laughter, getting to know members better and meeting new ones including Murphy! Oh and of course yummy turkey and other great food and those martinis! Yummy! When's the next party? :)
