Get planning people!!!
Where are all the events??? Plan some events and get it up on the calendar people. Otherwise, this chapter is in danger of getting shut down. I know that there are plenty of you out there that don't want that to happen right? Get planning!!!

miKEY would never change the name. It will always be called the an Francisco chapter. But we could consider totally shutting down SJ and moving all the members over to the SF chapter. I will run it by miKEY and see what he says.

merging chapters
Would it not be a good idea to merge both MiSJ and MiSF chapters anyway, for one Bay Area chapter?
It would make things easier for us to see across the boards, and also not have to check different city boards. Anyway, both chapters only have manageable number of events.

Just send me an email after you post your events and I will make sure to approve them right away. It won't show up on the calendar until it has been approved by an admin team member. Feel free to get some stuff up on the calendar.

Yes, you should be able to add events.
There is a minimum time, under which the system probably does not allow you...just to avoid potential spammers.
There are some rules on how-to-post-events. You will see them when you click on "Add Event". Please do go through them the first time....

Planning Events
This may be a stupid question, but...
Can anyone add an event to the calendar? I am new and don't know the rules (are there rules?)...
I have some ideas for events but don't wanna overstep.
