Latin Music @ Luna Written By Jennifer 06/21/2007 click for full size
What's better than hot Latin jazz on a hot summer evening? Spending that evening with good friends, that's what. The fun started at 9 pm and didn't end for some of us till 1 am.
Matt was the first one to arrive, so he was able to save us some seats. He had already ordered a glass of wine by the time I got there. New member Laura arrived soon after, followed Rachel and Myra. While relaxing with our chosen adult beverages, we listened to Azul's soulful lyrics backed up by the rhythm of the guitar and drums played by the boys of Border Palace. Laura had to leave early because she had to teach the next day. Tim was able to get off of work early so he came over soon after Laura left. So ya see, we lost one, but we gained one soon after! Rachel took off at around 11, and then there were four. So it was just me, Myra, Tim and Matt. Myra invited Tim and I to join her and Steve at Arjon's for salsa dancing and more drinks (as if we needed more to drink) while Matt stuck around to enjoy more music. There wasn't a live band at Arjon's, but the music did inspire us to dance! It was a perfect ending to a fun evening. More Photos

Myra!!! I was just thinking how beautiful you are! *LOL* Funny how we all perceive ourselves. Myra, you just can't look bad! I wish others had shown up! People! Attend these events! I can see you guys had some fun. One of these days, I will go Salsa dancing! Myra is in charge of teaching me (hee! hee!). See you soon! |
