You can go to event page, left mouse click, and you'll see a set of numbers. That's it.

event id
whenever you post an event; in the web url you will find the event id, its at the very end of the address. It took me FOREVER to find this! Meetin shud make a tutorial on posting an event story b/c it was not easy. Later :)
