Event Hosted By Chere 4/28 Hip New Bands Written By Chere 04/29/2008 click for full size We had an interesting time checking out the hip new bands. After Sunday coffee we met on the corner of 2nd South and 6th West. Decide we were hungry headed to Baxters to eat. After eating good food we headed back to check out the up and coming bands. Mike from the hooka bar was there looking for possible new acts to be seen at his place of work. I think we all decided after three bands we had had enough of the "driving baseline" (Angela's term). Enthusiastic as they were, they need about 5 -6 more years of practice and then maybe Mike can use them.
