12-20 Dinner, Lights and Carriage Ride Written By Chere 12/21/2007 click for full size
The weather did not keep us from enjoying a wonderful wintery night in SLC. Dinner was enjoyable at Red Rock. The poor valet guy locked my keys in the car, while it was running and parked out front of the resteraunt. He was beside himself, I found the whole situation very comical. We found a coat hanger and after a bit he got it open. Off we went to see the lights. The kids were more excited about riding in a carriage then viewing the lights. We chnaged our plans when we first arrived and found our carriage driver L.J. who was reccomened by Mariles one of our own Meet in members. He did a fantastic job! The ride was relaxing and the kids smiles took up their whole face. After the ride we attempted to see the lights, and for about 20 minutes it was enjoyable but then mother nature decided to unleash a very cold wind accompanied by wet cold snow and we boogied out of there to find a nice cup of hot chocolate.
