It's a little known fact that Celia is an evil scientist. Most of her efforts go into trying to enslave sea life and take over the world. Her sweet as pie facade may fool others, but it doesn't fool me. Ive got my eye on you Celia. I won't go down easy when zero day arrives.  <-( Barbara says ;-)
Unlike Bibi, I am one for public displays of affection and can't think of a woman who deserves one more than Celia. Like Abe, I agree - Celia is the bomb. This woman is an amazing combination of an incredible brain, a laidback attitude, a terrific sense of humor, a love of adventure, a warm personality and a smile that can cheer up the crankiest Meep. She's the fearless leader of us all and we're lucky to have her. Finest kind.  <-( WARWICK says ;-)
From swimming with the penguins to swimming with the dolphins, to swimming with the whales to swimming with the rest of us drunks at the local pub - Celia has done it all. I think she just likes swimming!!! Or maybe in another life she was a shark. Next year I hear she's swimming the English Channel. Either way, we all like swimming with Celia - a lot. Wait a minute I haven't given you a testimonial, I just don't believe it! Let me tell you Celia is the Shiznit for real though! So you better peep that. Translation: I really enjoy talking w/ Celia & I hope that you get to find out how cool she is for yourself.  <-( Bibi says ;-)
Now I'm not one for public displays of testimony, but Celia, is by far, one of my favorite Meetin folks. She is fun, as others can attest, laid back, friendly to everyone, sarky on cue, usually tries to answer my science questions, and is always up for an impromptu road trip or happy hour. Lastly, not many people would wait patiently in a bar while a friend enjoys a sold out show in Cambridge. Celia is a gem, and MiPv is lucky to have her as its new leader.  <-( Abe says ;-)
Celia is the Bomb. I am sure she will be a great leader of the group and will have more fun filled events. It is also great to have a well liked and fun person for MeetinProv first female leader, no pressure though.... :)  <-( Tonya says ;-)

Celia and I first met at the Pub Crawl and then saw each other again at Thai night. Whether we talk about work or Jersey, or something in between, time spent with Celia is very enjoyable and there is always great conversation to be had.  <-( Linda says ;-)
I met Celia in the fall of 2006 when she visited the MiPhilly folks in South Jersey for a game night and luau. She's such a smart and funny game player. Ask her to do her Mr. T imitation the next time you see her! I hope she makes it back to the Philly area to join us for more fun in the future.  <-( Patrick says ;-)
Celia is an awesome woman. Strong, intelligent, engaging...having a conversation with her is a real boost. Just really good, solid energy. Plus she's fun like ya' read about.  <-( Ricky says ;-)
It's always great to meet someone who remains intelligent and witty when surrounded by alcohol. Celia definitely was one of the highlights of a great time in the Philly area. Ok MEETinPROVIDENCE, we did the hard part, we hooked Celia on MEETin, now get ready for some fun! She came to Philly and blew us away with her karaoke and game playing skills and for being a nice and intelligent person. A hint for the guys: to win her heart don't shave or cut your hair for a year, she has a big crush on Bigfoot:-)  <-( Beth says ;-)
How did Janet leave a testimonial for my sister befor I did?! Even though Celia is the one who told me about Meetin, she has yet to go to a MeetinProvidence event, while I have been a member of 2 Meetin chapters! MeetinPhilly inducted her this weekend with our Labor Day BBQ/Luau to end all BBQ/Luaus. She impressed everyone with reading off Taboo clues in the voice of Mr. T at game night, even though Gil, when listening from the next room thought it was a new member with Tourette's. I said, no, I know that THAT'S MY SISTER! And now everyone knows that I'm truly the evil twin--she's the smart, pretty one. I love her to death!  <-( Janet says ;-)
I pity the fool who doesn't think that Celia is cool. It was nice to meet the "not evil twin" this weekend. She's great a karoke and board games, and funny to boot. I liked her sister Beth when I met her instantly, and I can say the same for Celia. Glad she came into the MEETin Philly area for a visit. More Testimonials >> |
