Accepting Nominations for LeadAdmin
Hi everyone,
This July will mark the second anniversary of my role as Lead Admin (i.e. head email answerer and MiPV cheerleader). I have enjoyed serving you but, over the last year, my responsibilities at URI have grown and the willingness of MiPV's members to plan events has declined dramatically. Most of the "regulars" know that, because of this combination, I have been interested in passing the torch to someone with fresh ideas and a strong ability to motivate members to take a more active role in their organization. I approached a few people at the end of the summer but, due to schedule conflicts and workloads, had no takers. But this is a new year and I say, if MiPV is to survive (and thrive), it's time for a regime change!
To keep members involved in this process, I'd like input from as many of you as possible. Please post your nominations below. Nominations will be open until April 15th and then, once we've confirmed that the nominees are interested in serving, the MiPV Local City Council (an auto-generated list of the city's 10 most active members) will vote.
Thanks in advance for your participation in this process...remember, MiPV is what it's members make of it!

Mary Ann is right on with her kudos for your work in leading MiP. Thanks for bringing your certain brand of hip and fun to the experience. Both are deeply appreciated.
As for Mary Ann's vote of confidence, if nominated I will not run, if elected I cannot serve as the MiP Grand High Poobah. I mean, the bocce league just don't run itself, if you know what I mean. I will continue to support whoever takes on the leadership. And I concur with Mary Ann's nod to Allie and to Jessie. Either one of these two will continue to rawk it way friggin' hard...so I say "yea" to them, too.

First off Celia, I would like to send a BIG thank you for all the effort and work you have put in these last 2 years (cannot believe it's been 2 years already!). You were GREAT. We will miss you as our fearless leader, but look forward to seeing you post many more fun events.
Now, regarding nominations......this is a tough one. There are many folks here in MeetIn who would do as good a job as you and be involved. The first one who comes to mind is Allie. Then, I also come up with Patrick and Jessie as my second.
