Photo events More ideas
Hey everyone the share your Photos night last night was great. It was very nice to meet a bunch of people with similar interests and see some amazing pictures. Paul thank you for setting up this event and Raffy thank you for hosting at your flat. I have come up with a few ideas for events and want to get people's feedback on what they want to do next.
1. Full day event. Start with some discussions about ISO, Aperture and Shutter speed. Then head out to shoot for a few hours. Return back someplace to run through what people shot and comment and compare. Of course this would include food and drink as well.
2. An evening event focused on post processing and storage of digital images. People showing off their favorite software and what they do with it.
3. Glamorous photo shoot. OK this would really just involve dressing my daughter up in her beautiful flower girl dress she wore in a wedding last year and getting everyone to take pictures of her and compare what we get. Was thinking of using the castle and some glass slippers for a Cinderella theme :)
4. Animal photography featuring Raffy's very photogenic dog. Maybe a park location with some action shots. Also, Jen expressed interest in getting shots of her and Roman's kitten as well - should be interesting!
Open to any other ideas as well. Let me know your thoughts. We would gladly open up our flat to host some of these events. We have a good size living room with a Media PC tied to a decent-sized television/monitor and are located very close to Letna park and the Summer Palace Gardens.

I am in for ant of these ideas but I think IDEA #1 is the best. How about next week- say Sunday April 7?
