About Kid Friendly Events
The Kid-Friendly Events Group is the place for those members with kids who are looking for things to do with and for them via MeetIn. Want an event you can bring your 7 year old to? Look here. Kid-Friendly Events are a great way to meet other parents in MiPL, make friends and perhaps share and learn about parenting (though mostly just have fun!) We want to build friendships between people in similar stages of their lives, to make all of our lives better, not just more enjoyable. Wouldn't it be great to make friends with other parents who like to attend events, and maybe even arrange a "kid swap", where you watch their kids one night while they attend a Mingler, and they watch your cherubs another evening so you can attend that costume party/pub crawl? Then both of you get to attend some adults-only events without breaking the budget.
The message board is a place for discussions on any topic related to kids or parenting. If you have experiences that you think would benefit other parents, feel free to post them, or are looking for babysitting referrals, or have some to share.
As with all the subgroups, you don't HAVE to be a member of them to join in discussion or sign up for the events (e.g. you don't have to be a parent to go on a kid-friendly mini-golfing event). Although if you join, you'll receive newsletters from the leader and emails whenever new messages get posted.
