About Health/Fitness Club
The MiPL Health/Fitness Club is an area for events & discussion on anything related to a healthy, active lifestyle. The group acts as a filter for events that will help in this goal.
Examples of types of events:
- Sports, and events involving physical activity at all levels
- Healthy eating (pot-luck, recipe exchanges, restaurant search)
- Health education
- Anything else that helps promote a healthy lifestyle.
Note that we also have an outdoors subgroup - if the event requires outdoors gear (like, hiking boots...) it may be better off in there. But you can still post about it on the messageboard here as well. There's also the cycling subgroup, but I think you can work out what goes in there...
As with all the subgroups, you don't HAVE to be a member of them to join in discussion or sign up for events. If you are, you will receive the newsletter and an email whenever a new message gets posted.
Click on the 'join this group' link and make sure you don't miss out on some great activities!

Q. How do I post an event to this group?
A. When you create the event select ‘Health/Fitness Club’ as the ‘event type’, it will then show up both here and on the main list.
Q. I already have an event posted that's suitable for the group, how do I get it to show up here?
A. Edit your event and change the 'event type' to ‘Health/Fitness Club’
Q. I’m still confused…
A. Call your therapist…oh sorry, you mean about the group? email me!
