About Games
What do scavenger hunts, Euchre, 4-square, Carcassonne, broom-ball, Jenga, bingo, and Apples-to-Apples all have in common? They are all various types of games, of course!
All games share certain traits: they should be fun, include some healthy competition as well as the opportunity to socialize. Join us for strategy games (euro-style, chess, Pente); dice, card, and tile games (poker, Bang!, cribbage, Scrabble, Boggle, dominoes, 42, Rummikub, Yatzee, Mahjong); and party games (Guesstures, Celebrity, or Family Feud). We even offer educational gaming events such as Cashflow.
Many games can take place rain or shine making them the perfect antidote for the winter blahs, but when the weather gets nice join us outside for 4-square, kickball, hacky-sac, bocce; the only limitation is your imagination!
The gaming sub-group is dedicated to the LOVERS OF GAMES, so let the games begin!
As with all the subgroups, you don't HAVE to be a member of them to join in discussion or sign up for the events. Although if you are, you will receive newsletters from the leader and emails whenever new messages get posted.
