We loved this film! The story, cinematography, acting, props, sets, music and casting were awesome. I wouldn’t be surprised if this wins some type of academy award... Based on a true story, it’s about the last weeks/months of John Dillinger’s (played by Johnny Depp) rampage across the Midwest back in 1933. They do make him out to be a glorified gangster so you kind of forget that he really was a bad dude. If you look at the old photos of Dillinger you can see the resemblance to Depp in this film. The guy they cast as Herbert Hoover (the man who created the FBI) really does look like him! One of my favorite scenes took place toward the end of the film when Dillinger walked into a police station – you will have to see this one to understand why it was so cool.
