Makana is a great host - lots of fun to be around.Shealways posts interesting unusual or fun events. She knows about so many Activities/ Events around town that the rest of us don't!! Wish I could get to more of them  <-( deanna says ;-)

Makana is a jedi master of cat herding and event hosting. If you're trying to herd a group of mipl-cats and you don't have her number on speed dial... you're in trouble.  <-( Jane says ;-)
Makana hosted the first MiPL event I attended and made me feel immediately welcome. Since then, I have have attended a number of Makana events and they have always been interesting and fun. She's a wonderful and creative host who has the interests of others at heart. A woman with great MiPL spirit!  <-( Alfredo says ;-)
Makana has to be one of, if not THE, most creative event planner in MiPL. I highly recommend Makana events. If you go to a Makana event, you will have a good time, and most likely, you will learn something new.  <-( Kendra says ;-)
I've only been to 2 MiPL events so far and I've already decided "Makana" must be Hawaiian for "Sweet as sugar cane." She was the first to say hello and introduce me around at Keith's Speakeasy Party, welcomed me in the darkness at Kell's bar last night in her giant green St. Paddy's hat -- and tracked me down today to return a purse I'd left at the bar. Makana ROCKS!  <-( Janna says ;-)
I attended my first MiPL event, she was the hostess. Makana, you made me feel so welcome! You were so delightful, and humorous to talk with. Thank you for making my "first" so positive!  <-( Evelyn says ;-)
Makana is a wonderful, warm, welcoming, thoughtful person and a great hostess! If you want to have a good time at a well planned, thought out event, you just need attend one of hers. She has a ready smile and kind words for all.  <-( Bronwyn says ;-)

Makana may be new to MiPL, but she certainly fits right in. From what I have learned about her, she's altruistic and committed to making this world a better place for those less fortunate than we are. And she's funny. I am glad to see her when we attend an event together! More Testimonials >> |
