Kady, I have experienced so much with you, and MOST OF IT WAS ALL YOUR FAULT! Of course, I mean that in a good way, as you are constantly posting events with interesting venues and themes. Add to that your charming personality and your ensuring that everyone enjoys themseleves and it's no wonder your events are consistently full and talked about afterward. Kady is one cool chick! She knows so many things about history especially women's and civil war related. She knits, cooks, dances, sometimes sings if you can twist her arm. Above all she is a great friend to hang out with.  <-( Ava says ;-)

Meeting someone like Kady is exactly why I joined MiPL. Where else would I find a brilliant beauty bursting with more event-planning energy and ideas than a Vivacious Volcano? And her capacious wardrobe of costumes and vintage frocks makes me both drool and verdant with envy. So thanks, Kady, for making me into The Giant Green Drooler!  <-( Vicki says ;-)
Looks like this is becoming the Kady fan club. Top appreciations: she has great diplomacy with different points of view, enough but not too much silliness (i.e. not an airhead), good ideas for activities, inclusive of everyone, and most of all: a fun person who I'm glad I've met in MIPL!  <-( Peter says ;-)
Kady has so many great testimonials that I could not add anything new to them, except maybe for the little known fact that she plays and wins Backgammon by wittily executing her well thought out strategy of changing the rules mid-game. The variety of events she hosted show clearly how gifted she is with a lively imagination. The reason Kady has so many testimonials is because she is so fantastic. She is a rare gem because she is so unique. She stands out in MIPL - not only for her spectacular creativity and parties, but also for her cheerfulness, and vibrant energy that fills up any place that she goes. I love seeing Kady at any event because she's always happy and full of flair! She's a pirate, a victorian lady, a civil war character, an a Egyptian Queen, -She is that special and neat - for MIPL and the World! Kady was a naive naif from the Oregon coast -- but worldly Portland has made her into a soiree-staging socialite. I like Kady because when we were kids, working in the fish cannery, she never threw old, smelly mackerels at me. Only new, smelly ones.  <-( Mark says ;-)
I just enjoy Katy's presence for she brings a certain ease and familiarity about her that creates a friendly environment. I look forward to the next time she hosts or even shows up at the even.  <-( Anna says ;-)

You've heard this saying before i'm sure "The hostess with the mostess" ... Is that even a word. But if you attend any event she's hosting, big or small, you will be amazed. She's also a great friend. Lets see; I've dressed her, fixed her car, subhosted for her, and those arejust the things I can put in print :O ... Kidding. But fun, profesionalism, and sexy all in one person. Now you know why her events are always full :)  <-( Christine says ;-)
I feel so privileged to call Kady my friend! She is one of the most caring, heartwarming, welcoming people that I am honored to have in my life. She is quick with warm and comforting hugs, always has a smile ready for you, and her laughter will warm your soul! There are so many nice things said about Kathryn, and that is for great reason. I have watched person after person be welcomed and invited into MIPL by Kathryn.
