Event Hosted By Chris Michael Link To Event Start slideshow Labor Day Beachtrip 08 Written By Chris 10/19/2008 click for full size The Labor Day beachtrip is a great way to end summer with lots of fun activities, great food, beautiful scenerary. The 2008 beachtrip went off without a hitch with more attendees this year then the past two years! Each year this event keeps growing with different types of people sharing campfire songs, cooking, hikes, exploring and of course photography! The beachtrip is a 3 night 4 day event starting on August 28th and ending August 31st. Allowing campers to go home the day before labor day. This year we had a picnic on saturday at Heceta head where there are lots of options for activities and sight seeing. Tidepools, hikes, lighthouses, streams and the ocean were some of the many amenities that were offered. Saturday night we had a bonfire so high you could spot it on google maps!
