Vancouver Olympics, Feb 2010!
Is anyone going, or thinking about going to the Olympics next February? Since it's right next door, eh, I'm really tempted to go. Plus, I'm the kind of girl who catches Olympic Fever, big time (I end up watching everything from ski jumping to curling to the halfpipe, and getting caught-up in fits of American Pride). Can anyone relate?

Staying in PDX
I'll probably be staying in PDX unless a sweet deal comes through! But I'll be up to seeing some Olympic events on tv with a group of miplers. Maybe we can watch the opening ceremonies or a couple nights as an event. :)

I would rather snow camp than to sleep in the car in the winter. I don't like when the windows freeze from the inside. LOL

What's wrong whith it?
I drove up to Whistler on New Years Eve once and spent the night in my car. It wasn't bad at all. I'll bet there won't be any place to park a car overnight during the games though.
The great thing was there were only two other people on the lift at 10:00 am the next day.

Nora, I can relate, but if you don't have a room by now, it's highly unlikely that you will find something that is not outrageously overpriced, the same goes for tickets to the competitions. I would not mind driving up there, or spending the night in my car, but it is the wrong time of the year to do that. ;-)
