FREE Siren Nation Workshops 11/8
Hello all! This year's Siren Nation Festival starts this Thursday. It's basically a celebration of women's empowerment through art.
From the website: "Siren Nation's mission is to inspire and empower women of all ages to create their own art and to highlight the many achievements of women in the arts. Siren Nation promotes and showcases the original work of women artists by creating year round performance, exhibition, and educational opportunities."
In addition to the festival, there are loads of FREE workshops happening at the Kennedy School on Sunday, November 8, as well as an arts and crafts sale. I plan to attend the one on documentary filmmaking (at 11am), as well as a few others. I can't commit to hosting an event at this time, but I thought some of my fellow MiPLers would be interested.
