Event Details Every years (since 1934) the good folks in Verboort have had a sausage and sauerkraut dinner. I've hosted this event for the past three years, I haven't had a bad time yet. ;-) In 1934, 198 lbs of sausage and 10 gallons of sauerkraut were served to 150 diners. In 1999, 13 tons of sausage and 350 gallons of sauerkraut were served to over 8,000 diners. Prices : Children (6-12) $7, Seniors (62+) $13, and Adults, $15. The dinner includes all you can eat Verboort Sausage and sauerkraut, both made by parishioners right here on the church property. Included is 7 ingredient green salad, rolls, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, and a piece of apple or lemon pie. We'll meet in front of the church at 11:00. Usually there's a wait, so we'll get tickets and then check out the church fair and visit the nearby beer garden. ATM available at site. Will send out carpool info a week ahead of the event.
