Event Details Back back popular demand - it's the adult Easter egg hunt! Since there may be a bit of cursing and drinking involved, this event is designed with adults in mind. Besides, most of us are basically just older kids anyway. WHERE: My house in Clackamas (it is easy to get to and directions will be sent) WHEN: Please arrive at appx 10am. THE HUNT Appx 50 eggs will be hidden. At a set time, everyone will be allowed to look for the eggs. When all eggs have been found, they can be redeemed for prizes. Each egg will be numbered and a prize randomly assigned to each number. THE PRIZES Please bring 1-2 items to donate as prizes. These should be small items ($1-$5) or something you’d like to unload/regift. A book or a movie you’d like to pass along perhaps? The crafty types could also make a prize of their own. THE BRUNCH (POTLUCK STYLE or BE YOUR OWN CHEF) Please bring a food item and/or beverage to share. Pastries are good and anyone who is feeling extra ambitious is welcome to bake or grill whatever they like. (Send me a note if you need to arrive a little earlier to prepare your dish or if you have any other questions. If a little earlier means that you must show up the night before, then you must also help boil and color the eggs!) And one final point that I cannot emphasize enough - I am not very skilled in the kitchen when it comes to breakfast, so I will really be counting on all of you. Oops! I still don't have a coffee maker - Cassy can you come thru again in that dept? If there’s anything else I’ve forgotten, please sign up for it. I’m sure it will all come together and if not, there’s both a pub and a Shari’s just around the corner. AFTERWARD – A BONUS EVENT? Assuming all goes well with the meal, we should still have much of the day ahead if anyone is interested in more activity. If the weather is nice, we can go somewhere for a hike. If the weather is not so nice, we can catch a movie or find a pool hall. So keep this in mind before you decide to dress in your Sunday best or put on that silly wabbit costume! Any other ideas? THE FINE PRINT Since this event will be at my home, you must have met me at a prior event or at least be able to convince me that you did. It’s a plus if we got along OK and our interaction didn’t involve any fighting or spilled drinks. Those who don’t qualify may still gain entry by providing acceptable answers to a series of questions or with adequate begging.
