Event Details Baldrick: I've been in your service since I was two and a half, my lord. Blackadder: Well that is the why I am so utterly sick of the sight of you. Possibly (probably?) the finest British comedy series there has been. It may be over twenty years old now, but it's still funny as hell. There were four seasons, of six episodes each. We'll skip the first season (because it wasn't as good...), and watch four episodes from the second season (third and fourth seasons to come soon!). The second season features Sir Edmund Blackadder (Rowan Atkinson) as a nobleman in the court of the frankly insane Queen Elizabeth I (Miranda Richardson). Aided by his incompetent servant Baldrick (Tony Robinson), he must curry favor and, well, not get his head chopped off. Also featuring Tim McInnerny, Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie (yes, that one). Potluck at 6.30. We'll start watching at 7.30, so we'll be done before 10. Standard dull disclaimer: You must know one of us to come. And there'll be two indoor kitties in the house - don't let them out or Jessica will kill you.
