About 40+ Members
Calling all you Boomers out there! Although you may enjoy spending time with people of all ages, there's just something about connecting with others from your own generation that is really appealing and that's why this group is just for you! The 40+ subgroup is a place for members to post messages and events which are aimed at the 40s-50s age range. Our mission is to: Expand our circle of friends, stay young at heart, live life to the fullest. The events are by no means restricted to just these members, but they have been organized with a 40s-50s emphasis in mind. However, all ages are of course welcome! Just as members who are in their 40s-50s are welcome to attend any other event on the MiPgh site (and many do),t his subgroup is a means for our older members to find friends closer to their age, without losing any of the benefits of the site. Members of the 40+ subgroup will receive specific newsletters from the subgroup leader. Events in the works include social Happy hours, wine tastings, dancing, art gallery openings, museum trips, jazz bars, dinners and summer BBQ's, really, anything you can imagine!. Don't see an event you like, feel free to contact me and I'll help you organize and co-host with you.
As with all the subgroups, you don't HAVE to be a member of them to join in discussion or sign up for the events. Although if you are, you will receive newsletters from the leader and emails whenever new messages get posted.
