Pumpkin Carving Written By Barb 10/26/2009 click for full size Unfortunately, the Halloween Pub Crawl bumped this event to Sunday evening, but we still had a good time! Arriving with pumpkins in hand were (in no particular order) Paul, Michelle, Star, Darla, Scott, Adventure Kim, and Amy and Rick. Since I forgot to suggest that everyone clean their pumpkin earlier in the day, the first group settled in at the dining room table to start the messy job of gutting their pumpkin. As the first round finished gutting, the next shift of carvers would take their place at the table. Everyone concentrated on transferring or creating their template and got busy carving. What a creative group! We also enjoyed watching Beetlejuice (Beetlejuice!, Beetlejuice!) while carving. As everyone finished up, they added a candle to light up their freshly carved pumpkin. Thanks all for coming out! I may consider hosting this again next year, hopefully on a Friday or Saturday evening and without a raging headache! More Photos

Paul	Great... event Barb and this should be a tradition. I was surprised at the skill level one can achieve in pumpking carving. I never tried the seeds before or helped carry a bag of guts. Great time!
