Your Interests Musicals and concerts, karaoke, hugs, other people's kids, bowling, being "ridiculous, playful and silly", roller skating, people watching, board games, spending time with family (especially my nieces and nephews!), comedy shows, camping, Euchre, bike riding, crafts, throwing dice in Vegas, dolphins (an affinity, actually), hot tubs, eating (I like good food!), travel (especially the beach), Raider football, and lots of other "stuff". I believe anything can be enjoyable if I'm with the right company! Not so much WHAT I'm doing, but rather WHO I'm doing it with!=)
Favorite Music Anything except rap. And country and western-only if I'm dancing :~) I really enjoy jazz and classic Rock and most anything from the 70s/80s (especially Eagles and Van Halen). Also, Geoge Winston (piano/new age?) And I LOVE musicals!
Favorite Books I like the Bible (no, really--don't judge me 'til you meet me!) I also enjoy self-help/psychology and non-fiction books. Og Mandino is one of my favorite authors.
Favorite TV Shows "Whose Line is it Anyway" & Jeopardy (especially the college one-it makes me feel smart when I get the questions right!:) Anything from Nick@Nite is good entertainment too! And who can resist a Cheers or Seinfield episode? Discovery Health and Design on a Dime will hold my interest, but other than that, it's just football and NFL Network with me (weird, I know...)
Favorite Movies Runaway Jury, Shawshank Redemption. I like comedies (Meet the Parents/Fockers, History of the World part I, Neil Simon flicks). I enjoy Disney movies and kid flicks (Shrek, Toy Story, Aladdin). The Rocky Horror Picture Show is always good entertainment and who could resist "Spike and Mike's Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation"? But I can't handle horror flicks and gore :(

About Me I'll tell you almost anything. What do you want to know?? I'm energetic (think ENERGIZER bunny), enthusiastic (about most EVERYTHING I do), and I like to be positive and upbeat. It's who I am. I believe in the power of the compliment, so if I compliment you-I MEAN it, sincerely. And I LOVE to hug. In a world so P.C., detached and unconnected, I think we forget what it is to be "real". We get too caught up in what others will think or what's "acceptable". Somehow, just reaching out to touch someone in a genuine, caring way has become "taboo" or foder for gossip. That's NOT what I'm about. I am, however, affectionate, passionate (about anything I believe in), generous (I'll give you the shirt off my back-just ask Jackie & Terry-hehe!), playful, genuine, fun-loving and committed. Whatever I do, I do it whole-heartedly! I'm a little hard of hearing, so conversations in a loud and crowded bar/restaurant are sometimes challenging for me. I love good and thought-provoking conversation, but prefer a quieter setting with less noise and distractions.
Why I joined As I said, I am a high-energy, enthusiastic person with lots to give. I'm energized being with people who are fun-loving with positive attitudes. I'm not interested in the pick-up/dating/bar scene at this point in my life and I just wanted to make some friends (both male and female) to share good times and do fun things with. This group seemed like a good fit for me.
My Best MEETin event story ( please only fill in after you have been to an event ) The PJ party at Tiff and Rob's was a blast! Great people, fabulous conversation, lots of laughs and a really good time! Definately a do-over event!! And Rocky Point was-well, if you were there, you know what I mean! About Andrea: Andrea is very determined. She always makes me arrange. We met at Sock Monkey Dress up Party and sensed an instant keyboard. When I met Andrea, I thought, �CAW!!!!
