Event Hosted By Andrea Start slideshow Sunday Skate Written By Andrea 06/23/2008 click for full size Whether you came for the "All-You-Can-Cram Pizza Jam" or just the exercise (or for both), this was a fun event! Old school roller skating is the way to go (although we sure could have used a little more A/C this time!) It was great to see so many people out and enjoying this great way to stay in shape! It was fun to meet new member Jennifer and her kids too! Thanks to Larry, Tom, Kay, Dutch, Lynette, Ray for keeping me company on the skate floor and to Shawna, Jennifer and Paul for just coming to hang out with all of us! Can't wait to do this again soon-Maybe on the west side (Larry??) :-) More Photos

Karen	Bummer! Wish I had been in town! I haven't skated for eons and didn't realize old time skating rinks even still existed. I hope I'm here for the next one :)

Larry	Skate-A-Holics Anonymous Yes, I confess....I am a Skater. I SKATE thru LIFE every chance I get. I attend Skaters Anonymous meetings Valleywide like this one....We Skate to DISCO music. We skate to the TOP 40 HITS. To live is to Skate.... Hell, I just went for the free pizza who am I kidding? Louie, after about 50 roundabouts around the rink and about 112 degrees outside, my shirt was perspiring, it wasn't me.....but it is a great cardio workout.
Louie	THANKS FOR HOSTING..... What a group, lookes like all the troops had a great time. I do have a question, WHAT, is that on L-LARRY's shirt ??? Sorry, I missed it...I learned my lesson, pencil me in for the next one.
Dutch	Needs practice Thanks for hosting Andrea! Bottom still a little sore from the last wipe-out I had... Been a while since I've been skating! Lynette and I had much fun! Looking forward to the next one.
Jennifer	Great Idea! Thanks for hosting Andrea! It was great that I could bring my daughter and her friend to this..it is one of their favorite things to do in the summer.
