Event Hosted By Rob Link To Event Start slideshow Mandala TeaRoom - Organic Vegetarian Kitchen Written By Rob 11/29/2006 click for full size Tuesday night, we had a fantastic turnout of 25 attendees to try a fairly new organic vegetarian restaurant called Mandala TeaRoom in Old Town Scottsdale. Was informed it has been there for just about a year only so far (thought it was there longer!). The TeaRoom agreed to prepare a special small buffet for us at a set price that we could all enjoy. I really liked the atmosphere and vibe here, music just right, and the food was great. Tonight's buffet included a small selection of teas, "Live Teriyaki Lettuce Wraps", "Classic Spinach Salad", "Ziti al Forno", "Mandala Masala Platter", and Chocolate (vegan?) Cake to top things off. A big thanks to the TeaRoom for accomodating our large group! We first filled up a large seating area against one wall, then some attendees decided to perch themselves at the small bar area, and some others found a cool spot sitting lotus-style in a cozy area (forget the proper name for this!) in the corner! In all, attendees mingled with each other throughout the night regardless. We had much of the restaurant to ourselves. At the end of our TeaRoom experience, the energy in the room was still good, so several of us agreed to walk over to nearby Kazimierz World Wine Bar to top off the night! Thank you all so much for supporting this event and attending!! I really enjoyed it, and think it went really well. Bryan	Great host! As usual Rob did a great job putting this together and hosting the event. He was a blur running around snapping photos and working with the staff of the restaurant. We just had to show up and eat. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces. I had a really good time.
