Event Details Let's go to the Arizona Historical Museum and then tour the house that Sandra Day O'Connor and her husband John built when they moved to Phoenix. The house was moved from Paradise Valley to Papago Park, right next to the AZ Historical Museum. Check out the website: http://www.oconnorhouse.org/ At the Arizona Historical Museum, we'll visit the museum to see exhibits related to the impact of water in the desert, the development of agriculture, and transportation, and the Home Front during World War II. Other galleries focus on urban growth and change, prominent individuals who shaped Arizona, and the Wallace and Ladmo Show, one of the longest-running TV shows in history. After that, we'll walk over to the O'Connor House, which is right next door to the museum and take the tour. |
