About Dining Club
Welcome to the dining Club subgroup!!
Paris is a great city for dining out. This subgroup is for discovering new restaurants, sharing a restaurant we liked, discovering the world through local dishes, and also for those who want to host dinner parties at home. Cooking together and then tasting the result can be great fun!!
In the dining subgroup we currently have 3 themes:
- Think Globally Eat Locally: every second Thursday of the month we explore a country through its cuisine.
- Let's Cook : We select new recipes, we get together, go shopping in a market, cook and then eat.
- Gastronomy : I have not started this theme yet, but if any of you are interested let me know. This one will be more around a 40 euro range.
We have already organized an outing for Vegetarian, West African Cuisine, Mexican, France/Spain and Japan. This month Indonesia, next month is Ethiopian (we are getting really exotic here).
When we can, we try to choose restaurants that offer at least one vegetarian dish.
Anyone who would like to help with this club (co-host) please contact me. I like to select restaurants and organize the event, but then would like to have someone help take photos and submit to the site.
