I saw this twice, once in 2D and once in 3D. Both were excellent. The effects are eye-popping. This is a great story with terrific stop-action animation from the director of A Nightmare before Christmas. Although it's "animated," I strongly recommend against young children seeing this. It might be a little scary for kids under 5. Much of it was produced right here in Portland and the story itself is set in Ashland.
