Oh, mother Aurore. Thank you for your advice, guidance, and wisdom this past year. I don't know many people are willing to correct and edit my CV, or offer to correct my french papers! But most importantly, thank you for your friendship. You have been part of my best memories in France. Viens me voir aux USA bientot!  <-( Josh says ;-)
Aurore is just plain awesome! She's sweet. She's fun. SHE is the kind of person you want to have at every event! I still can't believe all the work that she and Xavier and Joel put into the Europe Convention. I don't think it would have been nearly the fun that it was if it weren't for her. I loved meeting Aurore in Paris this year--she truly was the hostess with the mostess! Every time she hosted an event, it seemed like she was everywhere at once--making sure we all got to the Metro ok, leading our tours at the front of the line, directing traffic in rush hour--Aurore was a key part of the whole Paris convention experience. And when she wasn't hosting & you got to sit & talk with her, you found out that she was friendly and sweet. She made me feel very welcome and at ease, and that's a great quality in a person. Here's hoping I see Aurore again--Boise's on your itinerary for your next US trip, right?  <-( Carole says ;-)
Aurore always has a welcoming smile whenever you meet her for the events that she organizes that always turn out fun. She is always encouraging and adventurous and helpful even outside meetin events should you need some information. I enjoy hanging with her and look forward to more events as she ensures everyone is comfortable and having a great time. She did an awesome job rounding up the event planners for the Meetin convention which was a huge success. I look forward to more meetin events with her.  <-( W. Dana says ;-)
I had the pleasure of knowing Aurore in DC before she moved back to Paris. While she may seem quiet at first, she definitely knows how to party and have fun! She was instrumental in the success of the European Convention 2005 and must have worked untold hours to ensure that we all had a great time in Paris. Not only that, but she partied with us until the wee hours too. What a trooper! Great knowing you Aurore and hope to see you again soon!  <-( Monty says ;-)
I had the pleasure of meeting Aurore during my first European trip. All of the activities were very well organized and so much fun. In fact during the Eiffel Tower picnic she was approached by police officers because of the Meetin sign. She risked her freedom for the sake of Meetin. A true leader!!!  <-( Oliver says ;-)
There's much about Aurore that has already been said, but she deserves a lot of kudos for organising and executing several brilliant events in Paris. She also patiently and diligently helped out a lot of people in need, which was very welcoming. You rock! :)  <-( Kristen says ;-)
Aurore is that special type of friend who always watches out for you. If you should find yourself out until the wee hours of the morning after a long night of partying and karaoke, have no fear 'cuz Aurore is there to help you find a taxi back to your hotel! She is such an awesome, amazing person, and I'm so glad I had the chance to meet her at the 2006 Meetin Convention in Paris! Thanks for helping to make this such a memorable and fun trip for me! Aurore was one of the dedicated Meetin Parisians that made the convention such a success! She is extremely kind, friendly and welcoming and I just loved being around her. It's a shame that there is a canal between our cities but I'm sure we will see each other soon again. My wish for the future is to become at least half as good a host as Aurore is!  <-( Franck says ;-)
Aurore won't take any credit for everything she's done so that all of us can have a great time together, so let me tell you that she has given so much to ensure the convention was running smoothly. On the Thursday night happy hour she made sure we had all found a taxi before she went home...and she was there everyday with her smile. Aurore, I´m so glad I finally got to meet you! From DC to London to Paris, your are held in the highest regard. And no wonder! You´re able to welcome MEETin peeps from all over, plan all sorts of wonderful events for us, yet still be a joy to talk to and hang out with. And a great dancer, too! I met aurore couple of time through my best friend jacqueline who you know all. I went to encounter her again last night and as i always keep my promises, i said i would register since you folks are just good as party as friends. Aurore is one of the nicest and warmest people that I have met in this incredible little town called Paris. She is a terrific hostess and has helped make meetinparis a fun family of a mishmash of locals, expats, students and lost travelers stopping by along their journey. Meetinparis is ebbing and flowing along its own little journey and Aurore is steering our raft in the right direction. If you are new to Meetin, talk to Aurore early on and she'll make you feel at home very quickly.  <-( CharAnn says ;-)
Who is this? Well this is what happens when you party too much the night before and you call us at 8:20 am in the morning. This is what happened when Aurore called to find out if we were coming downstairs at the hostel to meet her. I simply had no idea as to who was calling. It was great to hang out with you in Paris. Thanks for walking with me to get money from the ATM. Any time you need more US quarters, just ask. I heard something about a meetinEurope convention?? I am already packed. Parisian riots couldn’t keep us away… a missed train was only a minor delay… Paris was calling our names and we had to answer. And we’re fortunate we made the trip to Paris because Aurore and her MEETinPARIS crew welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home. Aurore, you’re doing an incredible job in Paris, building a vibrant MEETin city with a diverse and fun community of members. I wish we had a bit more time to chat in person… but you know I’ll be back in Paris, and you’re always welcome in DC. Either way, see you again real soon!  <-( Carmel says ;-)
This second testimonial is in appreciation for Aurore's warm welcome during our recent Paris trip. It was great to see Aurore again, this time in her hometown, and to have her host the MEETin mixer where MEETinDC and MEETinPhilly met many MEETinParis peeps. Every thing has been said about Aurore, but she is one of the more enthusiastic and friendly person that I know. I don't know where she find all of her energy, but Aurore never take a break.
