Event Hosted By David John Link To Event Start slideshow Ala Wai Clean-up Oct-09 Written By David 11/04/2009 click for full size Ala Wai cleanup is a volunteer event MiH has been involved quarterly for at least three years. The clean-up is actually quite fun and we have lots of regulars who come back every year. We actually didn't find too many odd-ball things in the canal this time around. The canal was also fairly cleaner than usual so our clean-up went by pretty fast. Also wanted to report that no MiH members fell in the water. Afterwards, we headed to Wailana Coffe Shop for breakfast and replenished our energy. It was somewhat of a disappointement since the Shorebird $6 buffet is no more. Anyways, thanks again for helping to clean the Aina! The next clean up will be first week of January 2010 so keep an eye on the event post! Look forward to seeing you then! More Photos
