Ken's a great guy, fun and laid-back. Ask him what the coolest thing he's ever hit with his car is... To many of us, Ken IS MINY. All the work he does to keep it going is much appreciated - as is his encyclopedic knowledge of beer. <-( Ruthie says ;-)
I met Ken in DC after drinking a lot & he was pretty cool. I next saw him out in the woods while I drank a medium amount, & Ken was an entertaining and clever conversationalist. Then I was in Philly, sober, and got to bask in the glow of Ken’s warm smiles, group hugs, and good vibes. Do you realize what this means?!? Ken is Fun & Fantastic in any mental state OR geographical state! I plan to try 'em all :-) <-( Tyler says ;-)
Wow - almost 100 events hosted! Ken is a stalwart of the MiNY scene, and one of the reasons I still logon every few months (because let's be honest - some of his events have been pretty frickin' sweet. Who else can organize a brewery crawl as well as Ken?) Good times, good times... I am so glad I found him in MiNY. He makes everybody feel accepted, welcomed and cared about...it's difficult to do unless you are a presidential candidate or a priest. And it's not just on superficial level, but genuinely from his heart. You feel it. He's a great and fun leader(in a non-controling way) of this multi-cultural and multi-national group.Four more years! I met Ken when he "crashed" the Poconos weekend and joined MeetinDC around the campfire. I immediately found him to be a friendly and affable person who is quick to share a laugh and a nip from his flask. Add all of this to an excellent taste in music, and you realize Ken is one of a kind. I'm lucky I met him! <-( Udo says ;-)
When I met Ken the first time, Bush II was in his first term and I was struggling for my degree. Luckily, some things are bound for a change, and others did it already. Not surprisingly, Ken ("Ken is a leader") is one of the motors that keep MiNY running. Just have a look at his event list. Furthermore, if you're new to the crowd, he will take great care in making you comfortable at your -first- event. <-( Joel says ;-)
I've met a couple of times and it's obvious what makes him so cool. He's a fellow New Yorker. His cooking skilz are impressive as I recently tried his famous recipe for pecan salad and also Charoset(it's a Passover thang). Hopefully he'll share the secret! <-( Andrea says ;-)
Ken...what's up.... Ken is one of the nicest person I have met since I moved to the NYC and he had became a good friend. He is so easy and fun to hang out with. He is also a great leader as well. You can always count on Ken. Ken is a great part of the group's success. You are the best, Ken. We love you!!! I have dedicated my first testimonial to you. <-( hitesh says ;-)
Ken is just awesome - he can tell you everything you want to know about pretty much anything – alcohol, movies, camping, comedy, restaurants, bands, automobiles...the list is endless. Yup, he knows a lot! He's super chill and always fun to hang out with. HE also happens to be friendly, fun, witty and adventurous. Bottomline - There’s never a dull moment when he’s around :). <-( Fabienne says ;-)
My telephonic Jesus (inside joke, ask later)!!!! Such a fun type Ken is, embodying the MEETin spirit! Whether he's the host or the invited, good times and good laughs are always guaranteed! Ken brings the fun... and if it gets lost at any point, he's got his handy-dandy technology to locate and retrieve. :D <-( Peter says ;-)
A good guy, Ken is one of our fearless leaders. He is high energy; one day, after a long hibernation, I may be able to approach this level of activity. It’s always good hangin out with this native Pittsburghian. This is a shout out to let people know how cool Ken is. A lot of you hear from him through the weekly newsletter; but if you want more of him (and you won't be the only one, ahaha) just come out to one of his events! He's a Group Leader Extraordinaire and it's too bad this site only has 1 of him. :) <-( Ali says ;-)
Let me describe Ken this way: any guy where the quickest way to his heart is to quote lines from "The Princess Bride" rocks Everything! Inconceivable! I was lucky enough to meet Ken at the potluck before the Sauce Boss, and if you ever get the chance to hang out, take it, even if you have to drive several hours to do it! Ken is way smart, wicked funny, and overall, one of the best things to come out of NY/NJ/Philly - except for a nice MLT - mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe.... :D Anyways, I hope my poor attempt at a good testimonial strikes your fancy, because Ken is so much more than words can describe! <-( John says ;-)
I like Ken. He is a great leader and a great friend. I hope none of us take his leadership for granted. He participates in 90% of all the activities and lead by example. I appreciate everything u have done for this group and glad to call you as my friend. =P Ken is sweet, witty and sarcastic. He is super easy to talk to and a gentleman to boot. MiNY is lucky to have him. <-( Clarence says ;-)
Ken is a cool dude <-( Mike says ;-)
My first impression came of Ken came from the boards where he talked about improving MEETin and technical issues. So I thought he was a quiet dude who was dedicated to MEETin and was not exactly a party animal. I was wrong! This guy is just fun to be around, is always laughing and one cool guy. And he is not afraid to come to Philly for a good time. New York you are lucky to have him as your leader! <-( Alison says ;-)
Ken Rocks! He is just so much fun to hang around with. I LOVE when I run into him at events up and down the East coast and when I get really drunk, he lets me talk his ear off in German!!! Now how cool is that :) <-( Frank says ;-)
Ken is a cool guy. When we met during my trip to NYC he was easy to approach. He supplied me some essential information for my stay in NYC. Since Ken is a techie like me, we started exchanging information about bars with belgian beer using our PDAs... But don't get fooled by that techie stuff: He is socially competent and can party. I am looking forward to hang out with him when we meet again. More Testimonials >> |
