I arrived to Grand Slam at 7:30 and wasn't alone for too long before Jen, then Ben, and others showed up to join me until the game started. Opening acts were emceed by Freddie Prinze, Jr. (naturally...um, yeah) and included Kanye West with Maroon 5, Green Day, Ozzy, and probably someone else but who cares -- we were there to watch some Football! Many beers and yummy food were consumed by all: Sibel, Jen, Andrea, Ben, Vibha, Fran, Jeff, Kendra, Mark, Eric, Dennis, Ray, John, Georg, Bart, Joe, and Ari. Thank you to everyone for coming out and for making fun of me for only half the time! ;-) We've got many more games to watch, so stay tuned and if you missed this one, join us later! Georg	Ready I was Thanks to our awesome host Sibel how had to watch over a bunch of unruly football fans! It was a lot of fun to start off the football season in the Grand Slam bar, but I can't wait to see the true champions play - GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!

Kendra	Fun! This really was a fun event. I have very little knowledge of the game of football, but still had a blast laughing, talking, and snapping pics. I met some new people (and made fun of some new people) and had a great time overall. The old school music they played during commercial breaks is enough to make me want to go back. :-) Thanks Sibel!
Ben	Had a blast last night It was great seeing everyone there! I'm so glad that NFL football is back!! A couple of things - didn't Freddie Prinze Jr. last night look and sound an AWFUL lot like Jared?! haha Also, BAD props to Metro for having the Yellow Line be SO late - Mark and I waited for almost an HOUR for our train. Oh well, at least we were entertained by the old, talkative veteran who was a huge Eagles fan! hehe But we didn't get home until AFTER midnight (ouch)! Hehe anyway, other than that it was all good times! Thanks for hosting, Sibel! :-)
Kristina	Sorry... Wish I could've made it, but the drive home from NC took longer than expected. Looks like you all had a wonderful time. Hope to see you at the next one!
Mark	Ray.... Do you need to be reminded that Corey Dillon finally came through for me with 2 TDs? After I left, no less... Anyhoo, thanks to Sibel for organizing what will hopefully become the first of many football events to come this season.
