Written By Sami 06/03/2007 click for full size The Martini Night was actually a reenactment of another previously successful evening around December at one of our favorite martini bars in Downtown Manhattan. The drink specials at Absolutely 4th are not to be missed - offering an entire menu of lasciviously-titled concoctions (hah!) for an extremely generous price. The occasion honors Jeff (MiSF) and Sami's (MiNY) respective graduations from UC Berkeley and CUNY, as well as to wish Jeff well as he prepares to move to New York. We were a small and intimate gathering, and once the liquor set in, the usual drunken debauchery began to take place. After several rounds of "Honey Dew-Me's" and "Tie-Me-Up-Coladas," monkey - eerr, I mean horse - business returned as one of our guests decided to show off his mastery of the whip. ;) (If you weren't there, you missed out!) After the Happy Hour specials were over, several brave souls strolled down the street to Caliente Cab to test their drinking and conversational abilities against mojitos and margaritas.
