Event Hosted By spIKEY Start slideshow Public Art, Private Parts Written By spIKEY 02/20/2007 click for full size I know you all have been thinking, "where in the world is spIKEY these days?" Well, I have been taking a few months off of traveling to spend some quality time with my family. I will be traveling again, I promise. While home with trIXIE and the twins, I have been able to partake in some fun activities with my parents, as well. My mom had her crocheted artwork shown at the Nevin Kelly Gallery in Washington, DC and I went to the opening with her, my dads, and bunches of my MEETin friends! tyKEY was even there to play a small part in the show. Daddy B showed his wonderful documentary about Mommy Ming's art project as well. Everyone loved it! It was funny and informative and very well-made. :) I was very proud of my whole family that night and it was an honor to be able to share such a special night with so many of those close to me. I loved being able to show my support for my talented and creative creators and to enjoy Ming's work - artwork of my ancestry.
