Written By Cherryl 07/09/2006 click for full size Yesterday evening we met at the Rhein, ate, drank, talked and watched Germany take 3rd place in the World Cup championship. What a way to spend my last weekend in Duesseldorf. The atmosphere was incredible, the company fantastic and the game (well what I remember of it :-)) was super! Thank you those of you who managed to make it to my farewell get-together. It was really nice for me to get-together one last time and say goodbye in person before I leave. Those of you who were not able to make it, you missed a good time but whatever you did I hope you had fun. One last message to all MeetinDuesseldof members: Thank you so much for the good times and the memories. It was just over a year ago that I joined the group and meet all you and it changed the quality of my life for the better. I made so many nice friends not only here but because of MEETin was able to meet people from all over the world that I never would have met had it not been for MEETIN. Now I am moving to London and will carry on the spirit of MEETIN with London. Please keep up the spirit here. Remember, MEETIN is only as good as we make it, so get involved, post events and keep the fun going. Only you can make it happen. I will miss you all and will never forget the good times we had. Dear Cherryl, Thanks for the great event (and to all those there who made it good fun), which was both joyful (Germany won!) and sad because you are leaving us here in Duesseldorf for London.
