First we met up at Jase Cocktail Bar for a few drinks in preparation for the big Salsa Night ahead. At 11:00pm we headed over to Guantanamara for a night of hot Salsa dancing - after the lessons of course .. Ummm... well that was the plan anyway. It turned out that there were no lessons on Friday evening. Nevermind, we relied on our own natural talents and I must say we didn't do too badly! I guess those pre-Salsa cocktails helped us loosen up :-) Everybody danced last night - some more than others :-) and from what I saw, had fun! 2 new members joined last night - welcome Kamilo and Louisa - hope your first impressions were good ones and inspired you to join us for more events in the future. You guys are a great addition to our already fun group! Btw, I might have even managed to recruit a new member - Fabio. Look for him in the new members list soon. He is from Columbia (I believe) and was very impressed with our very international, english speaking group. Paulo even showed up later. Great to see you Paulo. Thanks everybody for coming out, thanks Xav for organizing the Salsa part of the evening - and don't worry about the lessons, we all managed quite well without them :-). Monique	salsa another day Sorry I couldn't make it. I just have so much trouble getting back over the river (you'd think it was a WALL or something)...that if I miss the last train at 11:30pm, I'm outta luck until 4:50 or so in the morn.! As I don't know my way around Duesseldorf to warrant staying around until 5 am - where I know I'd be safe, it seems a little scarey to me! SO unless the next event includes someone who's willing to let me crash on their couch, then I suppose I'm outta luck!! I really love Salsa, but I don't want to be stuck until 5 am. Sometimes I really hate Neuss! ..... OK, hopefully next time will work better! Glad you all had fun! .... cu Monique
